Hey there!
We are subletting a room in this amazing 3-people flatshare from December on, with anmeldung. The period can be discussed but we are looking for a longer stay rather than short. The room is spacious and receives a lot of sunlight, coming in from the tall windows (facing South-East). The windows have blackout rollos/curtains installed to completely block out the light in the morning and they work like a charm. The windows face a small street, but the windows are very well isolated, blocking sounds from outside and keeping it fairly quiet in the room. All the furniture in the room is available for your use.
The flat has a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and one with a shower), a kitchen, a massive living room, and a private laundry/storage room on the same floor!
The apartment is very well connected, with direct transport lines to the city center (S5 / S7 / S75 / U5 + Buses and tram) and quick access to the Ring, from the station S+U Lichtenberg located only a couple minutes walking distance away (300 m). The neighbourhood around, Weitlingkiez and Rummelsburg, has a lot of new cafes and restaurants, great supermarket options (Rewe, Edeka, Penny, Kaufland), a lot of nice little parks and a large Landschaftspark (with a great Stadtfarm). The Edeka, located in the train station, is also open on Sundays.

We are 2 young internationals working in Berlin and around, aged 31 and 35, coming from France and the US.
Vincent is a mechatronics engineer in the space sector, been living in Berlin for the past 6 years, he likes dancing swing, cycling and his occasional French meals. Shawn is a musician who has also lived in Berlin many years and works in the city as well as on tour, he likes running and bouldering as well as escaping in the nature and travelling.
The apartment was freshly renovated in 2020 and has since become a cozy, shared space with a big living room perfect for dinners, movie nights (with Home-Cinema 💅), and plenty of board games. We love doing activities together—whether it's bouldering, listening to music, or just hanging out. Two of our original flatmates moved out for work, and while Shawn has joined us, Mimi is now leaving, so we're looking for a new flatmate to complete our little community!
If you enjoy a mix of fun and relaxation and want to bring your own vibe into the home, we'd love to have you. There's plenty of room to make new memories!
We also enjoy hosting friends from time to time, whether it's for a nice dinner or fresh cocktails from our handmade bar. We'd be happy if you're into that too, and would love for you to invite your friends over as well. While we all work full-time and don't party too often, we do enjoy the occasional house get-together—our "Skandi Bar" makes a mean cocktail! Plus, our friendly and open neighbours sometimes join us too.
Fun, but chill is the vibe.
In summary, we are sociable, inclusive but respectful of personal spaces. We keep the place clean and we share some groceries. Common expenses are dealt with using Splitwise.

The sub rent contract would last 1 year, but this can be discussed.
Costs:
The rent shown includes all cost: Kalt rent + Charges from our landlord and also general expenses (internet, electricity TV tax etc.) that we pay on our own. We have a very transparent way of dealing with it, and all calculations are available to everyone.
Others:
A private laundry/storage room is available on the same floor.
