We are subletting a large (20 sq.m), well lit room for 8 months. The room is fully furnished and decorated, including a double bed, large desk, wardrobe, chair, sofa, coffee table, TV, bookcase and multiple lights. The rest of the flat includes a fully equipped, recently renovated kitchen with several appliances (we even have a Nespresso and an Air Fryer!) as well as one bathroom, so you can basically just move in with your suitcase.
The best thing about the room is its direct access to a large, beautiful garden. In summer, you can expect to lose track of time chilling at the table or the sunbed, enjoying your drink of choice or doing some gardening work. We usually plant some strawberries and vegetables, so you can look forward to enjoying fresh produce.
Speaking of gardening: the room itself is full of plants. If you like them and are confident that you can take care of them, let me know! If not, no worries, I can give them to friends for babysitting.
The flat is located in a quiet family neighborhood . Multiple bus lines (604/605/601/818/817) bring you to the city center and main train station within 15 minutes. If you have a bike, you can even be there in under 10 minutes. There are an Edeka and Lidl within walking distance (~5 min by foot) and an Aldi, DM and Obi if you are willing to walk a bit more. Despite it being a quiet neighborhood, the flat is also perfect if you like going out: within 10-15 minutes on foot, you can be at the Aldstadt where all the cool pubs are located.
We are Konstantinos, Sascha, Athanasia and Simeon. Sascha is a freelancer programmer. During the day he is working and he likes to spend his free time with bouldering, cooking, music and/or with the rest of the roommates. Here and there he goes to the theater or cinema (Sneak Preview @Woki) or visit the nearby art exhibitions. Athanasia is from Greece. She is a student in Uni Bonn and moved into the apartment in October. She enjoys being active, running and playing volleyball. When she is not busy with studying, she likes traveling around or exploring new parts of Bonn with friends, since she is quite new here. Of course, when she is lazy, she loves cooking and watching a good movie. Simeon comes from Bulgaria and is now working as a postdoc researcher at the DZNE. He also loves bouldering and travels a lot so he is out of town often. Konstantinos comes from Greece, like Athanasia and is working at the DZNE, like Simeon, currently finishing his PhD. He loves chilling at the Rhine to watch the boats in summer and hiding in a pub or at the cinema in winter.
We each have our busy life, working, studying, or traveling, but we always try to catch up with each other and plan activities together. Konstantinos is subletting his room for a while and so we are looking for another person to fit in our beautiful WG and complement our little family.
The rental period is between 1.1.2025 and 1.9.2025. If you want to stay for a different time, let me know and we'll see if we can make it work.
