Das kleine Fachwerkhaus liegt im Herzen von Friedrichsdorf an der Hugenottenstraße, in einem kleinen Hinterhof, welcher vor ca 300 Jahren der Umschlagplatz der Friedrichsdorfer Post darstellte. Heute bietet der Hinterhof Platz für die Außenterrasse eines Café's und einer Pizzeria. Von Anfang April bis Ende September findet auf dem Innenhof Gastronomiebetrieb statt.

Die Verkehrsanbindung durch Bus und Bahn ist sehr gut. der Bahnhof ist ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und direkt auf der Hugenottenstraße gibt es zwei Bushaltestellen. Mit dem Auto ist die Autobahn A5 ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Somit ist erreicht man sowohl Frankfurt als auch Gießen in ca. 15 bis 25 Minuten.

Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind beispielsweise das Taunus Carré, welches in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. In diesem kleinen Einkaufszentrum finden sich ein großer Supermarkt und viele kleinere Klamottengeschäfte, sowie ein Elektrofachhandel. Des weiteren gibt es direkt auf der Hugenottenstraße eine Vielzahl kleinerer Geschäfte und Restaurants, sowie drei Bankfilialen. Das Bürgerhaus von Friedrichsdorf ist etwa 5 Fußminuten entfernt.



The small half-timbered house lays in the heart of Friedrichsdorf in a small backyard and has been the former Postal Office of the village over 300 years ago. Nowadays the backyard is used for gastronomy of a café and a little italien restaurant during the summer-months.

The next train station is 10 minutes away (by foot). In addition to that, there are two bus stops located right in front of the doorstep. The Autobahn A5 is 5 minutes away (by car). Frankfurt can be reached in 20 minutes.

The closest shopping possibility is the Taunus Carré which is 5 minutes by foot away. There you will find a big grocery store, a number of clothing stores and an electrical store. Directly on the Hugenottenstraße you can find a few little stores and a couple of small restaurants. In addition to that you will find three ATM's very close by. The Town Hall is 5 minutes away (by foot).

Mein Name ist Jona Landau, ich bin 22 Jahre alt und arbeite als Baumkletterer in einem Familienunternehmen. Ab Oktober bin ich Maschinenbaustudent an der THM (Technischen Hochschule Mittelhessen) in Friedberg. Ich mache und höre sehr gerne Musik (meist Metal oder Hardrock, aber auch mitunter Klassik .... gerne auch ab und zu Laut!! ;-) ), bin luftfahrtbegeistert und interessiere mich sehr stark für Technik und Naturwissenschaften.

Der aktuelle Alltag sieht so aus, dass ich unter der Woche von früh morgens bis in die frühen Abendstunden am arbeiten bin, abends meist koche und relativ früh schlafen gehe. An den Wochenenden bin ich recht viel zuhause, oder mit Freunden unterwegs. Es wird ein- bis zweimal die Woche eingekauft. Gemüse, Obst, Brot und Käse gibt es frisch vom Bauernhof. Der Rest kommt aus dem naheliegenden Supermarkt. Ich bin Vegetarier, kann mich aber auch sehr gut mit Fleischessenden arrangieren.

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einer neuen Mitbewohnerin/einem neuen Mitbewohner in einem ähnlichen Alter und ähnlichen Interessen.

My name is Jona Landau, I am 22 years old and I currently work as an Arborist/Tree Climber and a little family-owned company. From this years October forth I will be studying mechanical engineering at the THM (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen) in Friedberg. I love playing and listening to music (mostly Metal, Hardrock and sometimes Classic music. ... occasionally quite loudly ;-) ). I am an aviation enthusiast and highly interested in engineering and sciences in general.

The current "normal" day involves me waking up and going to work very early in the morning and coming back in the early evening. Then I cook, eat and head to bed relatively early.
On the weekends I meet up with friends and do some housework. I go grocery shopping at least once a week and there is always fresh bread, vegetables and fruits from a farmers market in the house. The rest is from the big grocery store close by. I am a vegetarian myself but I do get along with meat-eaters very well. No worries ;-).

I am searching for a new Roommate of the same, or close age, that is like minded and maybe has similar interests.
