Großes Balkonzimmer sucht Bewohner*in!

Die Wohnung liegt in bester Lage im Ostviertel, direkt an den Schillerwiesen. Mit dem Rad sind es 10min bis zum Z-Campus ebenso wie zum Bahnhof. Zum Stadtwald ist es nur ein Katzensprung.
Aber wie überall in Göttingen ist fast alles innerhalb von 15min mit dem Rad erreichbar.

The flat is in a prime location in the Ostviertel, right next to the Schillerwiesen. It is 10 minutes by bike to the Z-Campus and the railway station. The Stadtwald is only a stone's throw away.
But like everywhere in Göttingen, almost everything can be reached by bike within 15 minutes.

Wir sind Leon und Amira und gründen diese WG gerade ganz neu, wir ziehen selber also auch gerade erst ein.
Wir haben ein paar Vorstellungen zum WG Leben, von denen manche für uns sehr wichtig sind, bei anderen freuen wir uns darauf, welche Ideen du sonst noch mitbringst und was wir gemeinsam daraus machen.
Wir wollen grundsätzlich ein Zusammenleben, kein Nebeneinander- Herleben. Wir freuen uns sehr auf das Gemeinschaftliche, daher ist ein "mehr" da immer in unserem Sinne.

Wir freuen uns auf nette Gespräche am Abend oder vielleicht auch schon mal am Morgen und das gemeinsame Einrichten der Wohnung. Gerne essen wir auch ab und zu zusammen oder sitzen gemeinsam im Wohnzimmer, während jede*r seine*ihre Sachen macht. Ein wöchentlicher fester WG Abend (montags) mit Essen und Austausch untereinander ist für uns Bedingung für ein gutes Miteinander. Respektvoller Umgang, vielleicht auch mit dem Anders-sein der anderen sind dafür genauso unabdingbar wie der Raum, auch Dinge offen anzusprechen. Wir freuen uns auf eine offene und vielfältige WG-Gemeinschaft. Wir wünschen uns, dass wir gegenseitig am Leben der Mitbewohnis Anteil haben.
Bei allem gemeinschaftlichem, was wir uns vorstellen, ist uns aber auch absolut klar (und sehr wichtig!): Gemeinschaft heißt nicht, alles zusammen zu machen, die Zeit für sich ist für jede*n genauso wichtig. Es gehört für uns beides zu einem guten gemeinschaftlichen Leben.

Schreib doch bitte auch in deine Nachricht, welche Erfahrungen in WGs oder anderen Gemeinschaften du schon so gesammelt hast (Freiwilligendienst, Geschwister, etc.).

Weil du bestimmt aber auch ein bisschen neugierig bist, noch ein paar Infos so zu uns:
Leon ist 23 Jahre alt und studiert Medizin im 9. Semester. Er spielt Kontrabass, macht Gesellschaftstanz und kocht ebenso gut wie gerne.
Amira ist ebenfalls 23, hat bisher in Darmstadt studiert und kommt jetzt für den Master "Sozialwissenschaftliche Diversitätsforschung" nach Göttingen. Sie spielt gerne Brettspiele, ist gerne draußen unterwegs und ehrenamtlich in der Jugendarbeit engagiert.
Wir sind seit zwei Jahren ein Paar und wollen nun zusammen diese WG gründen, weil uns beiden das gemeinschaftliche Zusammenleben mit anderen Menschen sehr wertvoll ist.


We are Leon and Amira and are just starting this flat share, so we are also just moving in ourselves.
We have a few ideas about living in a shared flat, some of which are very important to us, while for others we're looking forward to hearing what other ideas you have and what we can make of them together.
We basically want to live together, not side by side. We are very much looking forward to the communal aspect, so ‘more’ is always in our favour.

We look forward to nice chats in the evening or maybe even in the morning and decorating the flat together. We also like to eat together from time to time or sit together in the living room while everyone does their own thing. A fixed weekly flat-share evening (Mondays) with meals and socialising is a prerequisite for good cooperation. Respectful interaction, perhaps also with the differences of others, is just as essential as the space to discuss things openly. We look forward to an open and diverse shared flat community. We want each other to share in the life of our flatmates.
Despite all the communal things we have in mind, we are also absolutely clear (and it is very important!): Community doesn't mean doing everything together, time for yourself is important as well. For us, both are part of a good community life.

Please also write in your message what experiences you have had in shared flats or other communities (voluntary service, siblings, etc.).

An additional hint: We will speak German in the flat share, but also welcome German learners.

Because you're probably also a bit curious, here's some more information about us:
Leon is 23 years old and is studying medicine in his 9th semester. He plays the double bass, does ballroom dancing and loves to cook.
Amira is also 23, studied in Darmstadt and is now coming to Göttingen to do a Master's degree in Social Science Diversity Research. She likes to play board games, enjoys being outdoors and volunteers in youth work.
We have been a couple for two years and now want to set up this flat share together because we both value living together with other people.

Bitte schreibe schon in deine erste Nachricht, an welchen der Termine du könntest, das erspart uns eine Menge Orga Aufwand.

>Unser Hauptmietvertrag ist befristet auf 30.3.2026 - das sind 1,5 Jahre. Das muss nicht, aber könnte ein Haken für dich sein, wir wollen an der Stelle einfach auch hier schon so offen sein.

>Noch was zur Miete:
Die Kaltmiete beträgt 442€. Es ist eine Kaltmiete, da auch wir als Hauptmieter*innen eine Kaltmiete haben und selbst Verträge für Heizung, Strom, Wasser, Internet etc. abschließen müssen. Die Nebenkosten werden dann über eine Vorauszahlung bezahlt, d.h. am Ende des Jahres wird abgerechnet nach dem, was wir wirklich verbraucht haben. Liegt das unter der Vorauszahlung, bekommt ihr was zurück, liegt es drüber, müsstet ihr nachzahlen (wie das sonst in Mietverhältnissen auch ist, in dem Fall rechnet ihr aber mit uns die Nebenkosten ab). Wir haben aber versucht, realistische, aber eher hoch geschätzte Zahlen als Grundlage unserer Berechnung zu nehmen, d.h. wenn jetzt nicht voll die Energiepreisinflation kommt, vermuten wir, dass wir euch eher bisschen was zurückzahlen können. In diesen Nebenkostenvorauszahlungen sind aber dann auch alle alle Sachen drin (von Heizen über Strom und Internet bis GEZ). Für dieses Zimmer beträgt die Nebenkostenpauschale 201€.

>Wir freuen uns nicht nur (aber auch!) über Studis in der WG, sondern auch sehr über Menschen, die gerade im Berufseinstieg o.ä. sind!

>Außerdem würden wir gerne das Wochenende vom 25.-27.10. zusammen als "Einrichtungs-WE" als WG verbringen wollen -um es uns richtog gemütlich in dem Haus einzurichten und uns als WG auch eine Runde richtig kennenzulernen.

Please write in your first message on which of the dates you could come, this saves us a lot of organizational effort.

>Our main rental contract is limited to 30.3.2026 - that's 1.5 years. That doesn't have to be a catch for you, but it could be, we just want to be open at this point.

>One more thing about the rent:
The basic rent is €442. This is a basic rent, as we as the main tenants also have a basic rent and have to conclude contracts for heating, electricity, water, internet, etc. ourselves. The ancillary costs are then paid via an advance payment, i.e. at the end of the year we are billed according to what we have actually used. If this is less than the advance payment, you get something back, if it is more, you have to pay extra (as is usually the case in tenancies, but in this case you settle the service charges with us). However, we have tried to take realistic but rather high estimated figures as the basis for our calculation, i.e. if there is no energy price inflation, we assume that we will be able to pay you back a little. However, these service charge prepayments include everything (from heating, electricity and internet to GEZ). The service charge for this room is €201.
