The room is partly furnished: it includes a big green cabinet and some tabourets
If you wanted you can have the black desk for a total of 30€ (pictures of it soon)

The flat has 3 bedrooms (only one available), 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 basement, 1 balcony and the interconnection between rooms
The total useful space of the apartment is 85 m^2 approx. (balcony 8 m^2 approx.)
The flat is located on the 7th floor of the building
Only two apartments are on this floor
The building has an elevator/lift
The building has an internal parking station for bikes in the yard
Shared spaces are the kitchen, bathroom and the entrance area
The balcony usage can be shared based on previous agreements of the residents

The apartment is excellent for studying because of the location to universities but also because of nightlife possibilities (e.g. next to the Fössebad is the student cult address "Chez Heinz")
We are looking for an open-minded, conscientious and reliable person that wants to live in a multi-cultural space and that ideally needs the room for the long term (either for studies, work or similar).
Our common language is English, we speak in English to communicate ourselves. Other available languages in the flat are also Spanish and Ukrainian, but those are not common. All of us are also learning German and sometimes we practice between us, feel free to help us improve on that :)
While we value the cleanliness and privacy of our flat, we also enjoy cooking, having dinner together, and spending time outdoors. You are always welcome to join us, but we also respect your desire for privacy and understand if you prefer to stay in your room.
Buying food is administered independently by every roommate. It is ok to share some stuff, but as a general rule we ask each other first.
Everybody in the flat has specific tasks associated with the cleaning and maintenance that are agreed upon arrival. That means that there is no rotation or shifts for cleaning tasks, but rather you will be doing the same task every week.
We buy together all the things that are used in common areas, like cleaning products, tools and goods.
Your roommates:
José (he/him) is a 31 years old Chilean that is currently doing its PhD in Physics. He spends most of his time working on his thesis on the LUH campus. He likes going to the gym very much and also cooking vegetarian food. Sometimes he plays the piano or the guitar in the flat.
Yana (she/her) is a 22 years old Ukrainian that is doing a German Language course to prepare herself for university. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her mother and her boyfriend. She likes everything related to aesthetics, personal care and photography.
Rami (he/him) is a 27 years old Syrian medical doctor, who is currently leaving the flat. We enjoyed our stay with him. The reason for his departure is because he found a job in another town. We wish him the best of luck :)
Rent and contract:
You will sign an indefinite contract for 465€
WLAN and electricity is organized by all the residents. At the moment Rami has the contract and we pay 40€ for WLAN and 80€ for electricity splitted between the 3 residents. That makes an additional 40€ per person to the rent, making a total of 505€ per month. Since Rami is leaving, José is going to make a new contract which means that these numbers could change to some extent and should be taken only as reference
Service charges are an advance payment that is billed according to actual consumption (heating costs are included, but may vary depending on usage).
proof of liability insurance is required upon moving in, although it is sufficient that this relates to one resident (the costs should then be shared by 3)
