Heyo!
Since our roommate is moving out to live in another district of Leipzig, we are currently looking for a new flatmate, who wants to join us in our residence in the heart of Leipzig :)
The room is bright with a south facing window overlooking Nurnberger str and the small park next to the flat. The room has a beutiful high ceiling and enough space to bring some furniture.
The room is taken over unfurnished!
Very central, 5 minutes by bike to the central station, 15 to the east and connewitz and 20 to the west of Leipzig. 10 minute walk to the Friedenspark and 5 to the next supermarket. The nearest tram station is also only 5 minutes from our house.
This means you would be able to hang out in all the different areas of Leipzig with ease!
You would be sharing the flat with 3 lovely people all from different countries :)
Mariana is a 24 year old Portugese professional bassoonist, currently doing her masters at HMT and playing concerts all around Germany. When she is not playing the bassoon you can find her taking part in various crafty hobbies or trying to sell some of her many vintage clothes. She would show you the best fleamarkets and help you create strange but cool gifts for your friends.
Victor is from Belgium, 34 years old and studying art at the HGB. Previously a linecook, he will produce lots of nice meals in between his painting sessions at his atelier, or sometimes spend a night listening to cool music in his room. Victor is usually ready for a fun spontanous night with the WG or his other friends, and will join you in the kitchen for a easy going but at the same time deep talk about life.
Miriam is the scientist of the house. 29 Years old and from Italy, finishing her PhD in Jena where she will be living until June. Miriam is energetic in the best way and attends an incredible amount of different events around Leipzig. Chances are big that you have something in common, and we recommend to accept any invitation from her, as you will surely have a good time.
Masha is our newest addition, currently renting Miriams room and staying with us until June. She is a doctor and joined us recently in February to make an apprenticeship at the Uniklinikum. Masha is from Russia but has lived in Germany for several years. She loves travelling and keeps several instruments in her room. She plays both the Violin and Piano, and we hope to soon hear some of it at home after her shifts at the klinikum. Masha would guaranteed make a better coffe or tea than you could make yourself, and is ready to cook and share meals together.
We are looking for someone who would like to get to know us and spend some time together as a flat, but spending time alone in the flat is also of course okay! Some weeks we can all be very busy or even away from Leipzig, whilst other times we see each other frequantly in our outside of the WG :)
