If you are an international coming to Munich for work, this is the right room for you! (However, Germans are of course also welcome!)
Your potential future room is around a bit over 9 sqm in size, has a large nice window and is also fully furnished. You will find a wardrobe, a bed (incl. mattress) and a desk plus chair. It's a private room in a shared appartment, which has in total 5 rooms.
The apartment has one bathroom and a kitchen to share. The kitchen is also relatively new and includes a dishwasher as well as a wash-dryer that automatically washes and dries your laundry at one go. Of course you will also find a stove and a baking oven as well as a large fridge and freezer with a lot of space. You don't need to bring any plates or cutlery as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for basic cooking.
Apart from that you will find the basics you need in the apartment such as a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Around the house is a green open space, which can be used by everyone.
The rent is "all-inclusive" and includes heating, water, power as well as the high-speed internet connection. This is an official place to live and you will be able to also officially register with the city and use the letter box etc.
The room has an unlimited availability, however, you can also stay for a fixed amount if time if you prefer (the mimium stay is 12 months).
The apartment is in the nice district Obergiesing in the South-West of Munich. It's a residential and very green neighboorhood with some nice little parks in walking distance. You can also reach the famous river Isar within 15-20 minutes by foot, which invites you for nice walks and also a quick swim or barbeque during the summer months.
The connection to public transport is very good as the underground line 1 (U1) is only 2 minutes away (stop St. Quirin Platz) and takes you to Munich Central station and the inner city within 10 minutes. You have also two buses stopping close by (lines 147, 220) and the next tram stop (lines 15, 25 and N27) is around 10 minutes away.
With regard to shopping, you can find several supermarkets around such as EDEKA, Rewe and Norma (cheaper one) within a few minutes reach. You can also find several restaurants, fitness studios, a post office, a pharmacy, doctors and hospitals as well as an indoor swimming pool in walking distance.
This place is mainly targeted towards internationals that come to Munich to work or study either for a limited time or also longer term (minimum stay of 6 months).
However, as your potential flatmates have a regular job you should be looking for and support a place where everyone can live in peace and relax from work.
If you are an open-minded person, are keen to live in an international shared apartment and also know the basics of living together in a shared flat you are the right person!
