The room is equipped with a wardrobe, bed, nightstand, lamp, desk and chair. It's around 18 square meters, cozy, and spacious. You may bring your own furniture, but you'd have to discuss it with our landlord first in case you want to swap any items.
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob and a dishwasher, and there's a washing machine in the bathroom. We also have a balcony that is accessible through Marcin's room.
Our flat is located in a very convenient location in Moosach. The area is nice and quiet and you can do all your shopping at the OEZ. In case you're a student, you can take the U3 from Olympia-Einkaufszentrum (10 minutes on foot) and reach LMU in 12 minutes, or take the tram from Wintrichring (also 10 minutes on foot) and get to Hochschule München in 10 minutes. If you're looking to take a stroll in the city or go out for the night, the U1 at Georg-Brauchle-Ring (5 minutes on foot) will take you to Sendlinger Tor in just 11 minutes. And if you're a fan of fried chicken, there's a KFC around the corner!
The current residents of the flat are Emily (23), Marcin (22), Olly (20), and Betty (23).
Betty will be leaving us in May as she’s moving in with her boyfriend (we will miss you <3).
Emily, from England, has been living here the longest. She has recently completed her graduate degree and is now working part-time as a research assistant at LMU. She’s a terrific baker, very open, and friendly.
Olly, also from England, is currently doing an internship at a consulting firm in Munich as part of his university studies. Unfortunately, he will be moving out in June or July.
Marcin, from Germany, is a law student in his 3rd year at LMU. He’s a good cook, enjoys going out, and works part-time at a wine store (unlimited supply of wine!).
We’re looking for a flatmate who’s open, friendly, orderly, and has a good command of the English language. If you're interested, please tell us a bit about yourself, and feel free to share a picture or two if you don't have a profile picture.
Let us know you’ve read this far by naming your favourite alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) beverage!
XOXO
As for the formalities, our landlord will need the following documents:
– An enrolment certificate if you're a student (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung)
– A guarantor and/or proof of income (Bürgschaft/Einkommensnachweis)
– A scan of your ID or passport (Personalausweis/Reisepass)
Additionally, you must stay for at least 6 months, preferably 12 months.
Please do not send any of these documents via WG-gesucht, as they are only required for the later application process.
