I'm Ismael, a dedicated Ph.D. student from Mexico enrolled at Hohenheim University. I've been calling Germany home since August 2018 and am now on the lookout for a single-room apartment or a 2WG in Ostfildern or Esslingen, starting 01.05.2024. Whether furnished or unfurnished, it suits me just fine.

Cleanliness and effective communication are of utmost importance to me when it comes to the living situation. I firmly believe that with open communication, any house-related matters can be sorted out smoothly.

Being deeply committed to my Ph.D. studies, I understand the value of time and dedication. However, I also appreciate the joy in life and building connections with those around me. In my free time, I enjoy socializing with friends, engaging in activities like poker, badminton, and puzzle-solving. Morning biking tours and bouldering with friends are among my favorite routines.

Having experienced positive living dynamics in a 4WG since 2021, and previously in a studentenwohnheim 2018-2021. I appreciate the shared activities such as cooking, board games, garden grills, and casual weekend chats over coffee or drinks. As my responsibilities at work have increased, I find myself in search of a more private space.

My diverse hobbies include music (guitar), biking tours, badminton, jogging, poker, board games, horse riding, and, of course, exploring new places whenever the opportunity arises. If you're up for an authentic taste of good tequila and Mexican cuisine, I'm the person to turn to!

I am fluent in Spanish, English, and French, with a good understanding of German. I can manage well in various settings, such as restaurants or stores. Boosting each other's language skills could be a plus for all of us.
