Looking for a nice place to settle into for my PhD!

Hi everyone!

I’m Elle, I'm moving to Germany in April/May to start a PhD and I'm looking for a cozy place to help me settle in quickly. My move in date is flexible anytime between 01.04.25 - 21.05.25. I'll be working over in Golm, so I'm looking for somewhere with good transport links for that.

A little about me, I'm 25, Irish/ British. I'm a botanist currently working in London, and will be starting a PhD in algae when I move. I’m very into anything botanical or nature so I’m always down to get out into a garden or a forest!

I’m happy to slot into whatever household routines and schedules you already have as I'm a pretty relaxed flatmate. And by this I mean anything from cleaning rotas, to regular coffees and catch ups and movie nights. I like the place I live in to be really comfortable which means I prioritise keeping my space clean and fostering friendships with my flatmates. I’ll be completely new to Berlin so I would really appreciate flatmates who could introduce me to the place!
