The room is in an international WG with 4 other people. It is 15 m2 and has a closet, chair and desk that comes with the room free. There is also a double sized bed that is purchasable for a reasonable price (100 Euro).
There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets in the building, one per each floor. Since the room is in first floor you will be using it with two other people living upstairs. There is a common kitchen where you can cook and there are lots of plates, trays and cooking utensils that we use all together. But if you have anything that you don't wish to share we all also have our own private drawers. There are 3 refrigerators in total in the house; 2 are located in the kitchen and one is located in the basement where you can put anything you don't want to store in your room. The washing machine is also in the basement.
The WG is 15 minutes away from TUM and Mensa. The nearest supermarket is Penny, which is also 12 minutes away by walking. There is a bus stop nearby that goes to city center.
Our WG has currently 4 Turkish people (including me) and 1 German person. Although we have lots of Turkish people currently we welcome people from all over the world. Everyone in the house are masters students from TUM and we spend lots of time together especially in evenings when we cook. But we also respect everyone's privacy if anyone wants to spend time by themselves. We hold events in WG from time to time like cooking together, movie nights etc. But attendance is of course not mandatory. :)
We have a cleaning plan where one person cleans the house and throws away the garbage every one. Since there are 5 people in total that means everyone does cleaning duty in 5 weeks or so but of course it is possible to adjust the weeks depending on everyone's workload and availability.
