About the room:
Nice that you are interested in the room!
The room is 6,5m2 but it has a bunk bed of approximately 2,5m2 and some extra space in a dedicated storage in the flat, just outside the room, making it effectively 11m2.
In the room there are already: a medium-size drawer, a shelf, a desk with a chair, a couch and a mattress. It will be up to you if keeping them or not.
The window faces the inner courtyard which make the room pleasantly quiet and fresh in hot Viennese summers.
About the apartment:
The apartment is newly renovated, old building with herringbone parquet flooring, almost 4m high and a total of 112m2. We also have two small balconies (south and north) which we use, depending on the weather, for breakfast or sunbathing. Further unbeatable extras are our spacious entrance area, the bike storage, our dishwasher, a washing machine and the spacious bathroom with shower AND bath.
We also have a homely room with a couch and large dining table. This is where we meet again and again, often more by accident, talking about serious or less serious things, forgetting the time, listening to music, cooking and having drinks...
The apartment is very well connected: suburban railway station Bhf. Meidling, U6, and Bim 62, Badnerbahn, and bus 59A are all max. 5 minutes away. All shopping possibilities (supermarkets and the Meidlinger market) are within walking distance.
Across the street, you can find a craft beer store and a winery where we also sometime go to have a drink and collect our veggies delivered by Paradeisa.
Recently, an amazing pizzeria has arrived to Meidling! We are big fans and we feel the need to point it our ;)
Green spots nearby: Wienerberg park, Schönbrunn park.

Me:
my name is Paola and I the only thing that I will say about me is that I am extremely sad to be writing this add! After years of being torn between Italy and Austria, I have finally decided to leave Vienna. This is the only reason why I am letting go of this precious room and special WG! If I had the money, I would keep it! This should give you an idea of how much I like it ;)
The sweet potatos of the WG:
* Massimo (27): landscape architect, amazing cook and pasta-maker, plants lover.
* Sarah (32): communication scientist working at Statistik Austria, big cheese fan, hobby-baker and potterist.
* Filiz (30), art teacher, great drawing talent and the landlord's favourite tenant, and her partner Volker (37), handicrafts teacher and musician with a green thumb. Filiz and Volker have a studio-room in the apartment, but their bedroom is in another WG in the same building, in the top floor. The two WGs sometimes meet to spend time together, to have food and drinks or to admire the sunset from the rooftop :)
Since we are all working, we have different day rhythms. However, we care a lot about the common moments together. We are looking for someone with whom we can spend them pleasantly. We are honest to one another and we try our best to respect our individual needs and diversities. What is important is that the chemistry is right!
LAST BUT FIRST: For us it is very important to avoid any form of discrimination. We are a pro-queer, pro feminism community and we stand against racism and violence.
