As of July 1st, we are looking for a new roommate in our flatshare in Meidling, 5min by foot from Bahnhof Meidling. Us, that's Samira (24, currently studying her master degree at BOKU and originally from Munich, Germany) and Jonas (31, employee, in the apartment since January 2018 and originally from Stuttgart, Germany). The apartment is a real stroke of luck - we have a total of 103m² available, which are divided above all on the shared, spacious kitchen, the balcony and a fairly large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. What’s more, we can access our neighbor’s terrace and enjoy the sun whenever we want to.
Your future room features a size of 13m², is located in a quiet residential street and, like all rooms, facing north. Utilities included (internet, electricity, water), the rent is 370€ / month.
Temporary rent from first of July with flexible end date.
The location of the apartment is pretty neat – the S-train, U6, 62 and 59A lines and the Badner train in front are all reachable within 10min by foot (whats more, the U4 is a mere 15min away). Moreover, Wienerberg and Schönbrunn are nearby and great for walking. Hofer, DM and Penny are a 5 minute walk, the Interspar at Niederhofstraße 10 minute walk.
Life in the appartment is very relaxed and easy-going. Once every two weeks or so we have a BBQ (3g rule applies) on our neighbor's terrace.
We both play instruments (Samira the violin, Jonas plays the guitar and the piano), you might be able to get a free concert from time to time :-)
Samira very much enjoys cooking and, therefore, would be happy to have someone to share her hobby with her. Due to my interest in foreign languages, I would not mind having a non German-speaking flatmate - of course, this is not a must be ;-)
Also to mention: In order to stay reasonably organized, we have a cleaning roster.
