The vacant room is 19,5m², furnished and has a large window facing the yard. It’s extremely quiet and in the afternoon direct sunlight lights up the room. The whole flat is slightly over 200m² and comes with a 30m² living room, a 16m² kitchen which is well equipped (there is a dish washer), three separate showers and three toilets.
The rent for the room is 450 Euro (for one month) including expenses for hot water, electricity, gas, heating and internet). Additionally there is a deposit of 250 Euro which will be returned to you after you have moved out, provided that there are no damages.

The flat is located in Bennogasse, a quiet street in the 8th district. It is a safe area (but that’s not very special since pretty much all of Vienna is safe) with good access to the public transport system (the subway line U6, tram lines 44, 43, 33 and 2 as well as bus line 13A all have stops close by). You will also find lots of grocery stores and bars in the area.
If I am able to fix my bike, you are free to use it while you are staying at our place :)

Your flatmates will be Rebecca (25), Sophia (5), Jacqueline (27, mother of Sophia), Laura (23) and Keîl (26). Michi (37), Jacqueline’s boyfriend, also spends a lot of time at our place and has become somewhat of an honorary member of our flat. Since another room will be vacant soon, there will probably be one grown-up, one child and two cats moving in at the beginning of July.
When we are at home together we like to chat over coffee/beer/other beverages, watch a movie, play board games or simply hang out in our living room. We also really like to cook (and often cook together). Of course, it is also important for us that everyone has enough space and that we respects each other’s privacy :)
We see ourselves as open-minded people and we reject sexism, racism, homophobia and all other forms of discrimination. We want our home to be a place where we meet one another with respect and consideration. Also, want to highlight that there is a child living with us: Sophia is five years old and has already lived in a shared flat for nearly three years now.
We are a non-smoking flat – however, if you are a semi-regular smoker, we might be able to find a solution (smoking from one of the staircase-windows for example).
If you want to set up camp at our place for August, just write us a message :). We would be happy to get to know you and are looking forward to hearing from you!
