We are subletting our two rooms for 3 months for the summer. One room is 27 sqm, the other is 20 sqm. Both rooms are 520€ (all incl.) together. It is separated into a bedroom, which also leads to the 10sqm terrace/balcony and a work room/studio. The rooms are ideal for a couple or a single person with a bit of a budget that needs a workroom as well as a bedroom.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, a closet, a dresser, lots of plants, it also has a sound system, you can either use the record player or plug your phone or computer and listen to music. The bedroom is very spacious and bright, as it has lots of windows going to the balcony. Because the flat is on the yard side of the building its not only super quiet but also you're not going to be disturbed by streetlights at night. Also there are blinds and curtains. We have a mosquito net installed in one of the windows and a beaded curtain infant of the balcony door. furthermore there are some ottomans that you can take out to the balcony to sit (just don't leave them outside in the rain). From the bedroom you can enter the work room/studio where my girlfriend and I usually work. It has two desks lots of shelves, is super bright, we even installed some blinds there.
The flat is situated in the 5th District - very central. The first district is in a 10 to 15 minute walking distance or 5 minutes by tube. The 13A bus (important bus) is stopping just around the corner. Thursdays we have a market in front of the house with local and less local specialities. Also the Naschmarkt is in a walking distance (6 minutes).
The flat is basically a house inside a house, which means we do not have direct neighbours -->nobody above, below or next to us.
In the area you will find many shops, supermarkets (Spar, Billa, denn's, Lidl, Penny, Hofer), plenty of Bars and Restaurants and the best sausage stand in Vienna, plus the inventors of Schnitzeldürüm.
Angewandte, Akademie, TU and the main University are all super close, as are most of the sights.
Other means of transportation include: 12A, 59A, 14A, U4 and the before mentioned 13A
The flat is like a house. It's a two story building, your rooms are upstairs, together with Robyn's room (who is a wonderful young woman from New Zealand who is working in a research facility in Vienna) and the upstairs bathroom. We have two bathrooms. Downstairs you will find the 34sqm large kitchen that we also use as a living room. It is very well equipped. We all love to cook and some of us are very good bakers as well. Eva's room is also downstairs. She is supercute and works in a clinic, she is finishing up she won't be here in July but she'll be back in August to start her study's on dental medicine.
In the kitchen we have a music corner, with guitars, ukulele, cajon, drums, etc. We also own a HD-Projector and like to watch movies and TV-Shows in the kitchen.
Soso and I are going to Berlin for 3 months. I am doing an internship at a young fashion label, and Soso will work in Berlin as a freelancer. I am still a fashion student, Soso has been working as a freelance designer for about two years now.
We are all very clean, and quiet people. All of us are working a lot, we are not a party-flat. Also we are all non-smokers and we are searching for non-smokers as well. We would like to find someone or a couple or even just very good friends who are responsible and clean to sublet our two rooms and balcony. Maybe you even like plants? We have two beautiful fig trees that produce the best fruit! Please send me a message if you're interested!
If you need to cool down, it's summer after all, we have a 300 year old cellar that never goes above 15 degrees celsius. Just stay there 5 minutes and you're ready for Vienna's summer heat!
