Hi!
I am subletting a furnished apartment (37sqm) for 4 months (june, july, august, september) with a possibility to take over the contract. My current contract for this apartment is until the end of september, and If the landlord agrees, it is possible to take over the apartment long term.
The apartment has a large penthouse-style balcony facing east (very sunny in the mornings), and it has a separate bedroom with a bed, desk, and a wardrobe, small living room and dining area, bathroom, and a large fully-equipped kitchen. Furnishing is from the landlord, and I do not own any furniture, therefore if the contract takeover happens at the end of the sublease period, all the furnishing stays. Apartment is suitable for couples during the sublease period (you have to clarify with the landlord if this is also possible in the long term).
The apartment is a part of i Live Berlin (more info here: https://www.i-live-berlin.de/), furnished rentals provider for students and young professionals. You can find a lot more information about the building on the link provided. There are a few shared spaces in the building accessible for all tenants, such as a community hangout area, kitchen, small gym, laundry space, beach volleyball court, and rooftop terraces.
Cold rent is 750€ with an additional operating cost of 188€ (incl. internet, electricity, heating, water), for the total fee of 938€.
Deposit is 750€.
In-person and online apartment viewing are both possible.
Apartment is located in Lichtenberg, with a bus stop right in front of the building which allows you to get to Ostkreuz in 10 minutes. U Friedrichsfelde (U5) is 13 minutes by walk (there's also a bus line that takes you there in few minutes). S Betriebsbahnhof Rummelsburg is 14 minutes by walk, and there's again a bus that can take you there in just a few. Friedrichshain is quite accessible (ca. 18 minutes by bus).
Rewe and Penny are right across the street (1 minute walk). Overall, it's a quiet residential neighbourhood that gives you everything you need in just a few minutes walk, and is well connected to more lively neighbourhoods as well via public transport.
