The entire building, along with several other buildings down the street, was completely renovated about 20 years ago.
The rent is all-inclusive and my apartment is rented out for a limited time period of 3 years as I am currently working in another German city.
The apartment is located in a side-street of Schönhauser Allee next to the Tram Station Schönhauser Allee/Bornholmerstr. The neighborhood is calm, with lots of young people and families. Prenzlauer Berg is considered one of the nicest quarters of Berlin with a large English-speaking population.
Next to the apartment (2 minutes walk) is the Tram station Schönhauser Allee/Bornholmer Straße. You can reach the S/U-Bahn stations Schönhauser Allee within a 5-7 minutes walk. There you will also find a shopping mall (Schönhauser Allee Arcaden) with a gym (Fitness First) and a rooftop bar (Deck5), supermarkets and lots of cafes and restaurants. Also the famous Mauerpark and the the main "hub" of Prenzlauer Berg (Eberswalder Straße) is only one U-Bahn station away. LIDL is also relatively close by and there is also a Spätkauf store on the street.
The apartment is being rented out since I have to work next year in another German city. Please note, that I would like to have a responsible non-smoking couple in the apartment who will appreciate and handle the wooden floorboards and parquet well.
