Couple looking for an apartment January in Jena

Hello people,
We are Vanesa and Dominik, me Vanesa started my master studies here in Jena this October and Dominik my boyfriend is finishing his doctoral studies in Freiburg, he will move to Jena in January to work and the fact we are gonna be in the same city we are looking for a new place to live.
A bit more about us, I am from Mexico and moved to Germany around 1.5 years ago (and yes, I cannot speak german yet but we are on it haha), I love cooking, writing, hiking, reading, work out, watching movies and of course sharing time with my dog Lucina, she is now in Mexico but we are planning to bring her in summer. My daily routine is usually going to uni, work or homework, working out, or going out with my loved ones. Dominik is originally from a town close to Freiburg and he likes swimming, going out with friends, playing videogames, cooking together, beer haha
