A new year also brings new opportunities. Now this is one: You have the chance to rent half an apartment in the heart of Frankfurt =)
I renovated this apartment with a lot of warmth and affection to make it a lovingly place to live. It is located in the middle of beautiful Nordend and seeking a new roommate now, since the current resident is moving in with her boyfriend. High ceilings, new flooring, large windows and a great, large balcony are waiting for you. The whole apartment is modernly furnished and has everything you need for daily life.
Your room is around 18 sqm and fully furnished. This means that you can move in completely relaxed without much effort. A 2m wardrobe and a chest of drawers are available. There is also a Queen-size bed in the room, an armchair and a desk with a chair.
To end the day in a relaxed way, you can either sit on the huge balcony facing the inner courtyard or sit down in the living room with open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and all kitchen equipment. There is a sofa bed in the living room if guests come to stay overnight.
I have lovingly renovated the bathroom with natural stone mosaic tiles. It has a large bathtub, a washer and a dryer. There is also enough space to store all of your make-up in the bathroom ;-)
Everything your heart desires is within a walking distance. Nordend is a relaxed neighborhood but has a lot to offer. There are grocery stores (3-5 min): Basic Bio, Aldi and Rewe. As well as many nice cafes and restaurants. The subway stop of U5 is in front of house, so you reach the main train station within 10 min. However, if you don't feel like using public transport, the city center is close - you will be there within 15-20 min. walking.
In the house we have super nice neighbors who are always happy to have a little chat on the balcony or in the hallway. There is also a flat share on the ground floor with nice guys and you can safely park your bike in the basement.
Paying attention to cleanliness is very important to me because the apartment is just too beautiful! Therefore, it should be important to you that you handle everything in the apartment and of course the apartment itself with care. Common understanding so far was that everyone cleans the kitchen, bathroom and hallway every second week. That works out pretty good so far.
Finally, a few last words... I'm Ariane and the owner of the flat, born in Frankfurt and an architect. I moved to Italiy with my husband last year. A few years ago I bought the apartment and renovated it with a lot of passion and at great expense. So I'm looking for a tenant who is actually looking for a home not a simple place to sleep. The lease is open-ended; but you can tell me if you need a short term stay. 880 Euro is the all-inclusive price for half of the apartment - basically your private room and the shared rooms. This includes rent, ancillary costs, internet, electricity, heating, GEZ fees, etc. So you don't have to worry about anything else - there are no costs for moving in or out either.
