Our Fifth in the Covenant unfortunately draws it somewhere else, so we are looking for you now!

WG?
Because we believe that it is simply totally good to be surrounded by exciting people who like us to deal with interesting topics and also with plus-minus 30 don't just want to quickly start a family and have already announced internally on their 9-to-5 job.

So student WG now?
No, absolutely not. We place great value on order, cleanliness and mindfulness.
Very high quality and with plenty of space. A total of over 300 square meters, 50 square meters of kitchen and 60 square meters of living room. 3,60m high ceilings with stucco, piano, laundry room, sufficient bathrooms (so that all freshly showered can go to work even if all want to go away at the same time), oak parquet, stark networking, 2 balconies, cleanliness, order as well as soundproof walls and corresponding privacy.

The house is from 1912. However, we have completely ground-sanctioned and especially respected for sound protection – to the outside as well as between the rooms. In doing so, we have put on faithful materials wherever possible. Parquet instead of laminate, tiles in old style (incl. underfloor heating), floor level rain showers with fittings in the 20s style and bathtubs. All this now at the most modern technical stand. The furniture is rather modern and straight. Of course you can keep this in your room as you want.

What is modern now?
1000 Mbit Internet, washing machine plus dryer, most modern lighting system, only eco-flow...
The kitchen is equipped with everything the passionate hobby cook needs - and above all with plenty of space.

Okay, a lot of swarms. But now again. WG, really now?
Yes, of conviction.

Four parties live under one roof.
My friend and I live in the back of the apartment. The front part has three more rooms between about 20 and 35 sqm. Living room and kitchen we all share, as well as the laundry room, large Entré, windfall.
And place? Well, everyone has a little over 60sqm (i.e. 300 by 5). But the living room won't be less because there are three more people. So you can actually move to about 200sqm, because you shouldn't be "only" in the private rooms of the others.
We are all professional and like our jobs, i.e. we spend quite a lot of time with work (also often on weekends).
The WG should not be a "family replacement". One would probably call it a purpose WG, with an open, mindful and trusting approach very important to us.

We get support from a household aid that we employ on 450 euros on the basis of insurance and that helps us get everything nice. But where every one of them is clearing his own stuff.
More modern and at the same time retro, more luxury and at the same time socially correct community is not going. For us this residential concept is the epitome of Berlin – and perhaps the most beautiful WG of the city;-)

Eine SEO-Managerin, ein Political Research Fellow, ein Ingenieur (mein Freund) und ich (im Healthcare Bereich tätig).
Unsere Fünfte im Bunde zieht es leider woanders hin, daher suchen wir nun dich!

WG? Echt jetzt? warum?
Weil wir glauben, dass es einfach total gut ist, sich mit spannenden Menschen zu umgeben, die sich wie wir gern mit interessanten Themen auseinandersetzen und auch mit plus-minus 30 nicht nur noch schnell eine Familie gründen wollen und auf ihrem 9-to-5 Job schon innerlich gekündigt haben.

So Studenten-WG jetzt?
Nein, absolut nicht. Wir legen sehr viel Wert auf Ordnung, Sauberkeit und Achtsamkeit.
Sehr hochwertig und mit reichlich Platz. Insgesamt über 300 qm, allein 50 qm Küche und 60 qm Wohnzimmer. 3,60m hohe Decken mit Stuck, Klavier, Wäschezimmer, ausreichend Bäder (damit alle frisch geduscht zur Arbeit gehen können auch wenn mal alle gleichzeitig los wollen), Eichenparkett, krasse Netzwerktechnik, 2 Balkone, Sauberkeit, Ordnung sowie schalldichte Wände und entsprechende Privatsphäre.

Das Haus ist von 1912. Wir haben aber komplett grundsaniert und insbesondere auf Schallschutz geachtet – nach außen ebenso wie zwischen den Zimmern. Dabei haben wir überall wo möglich auf originalgetreue Materialien gesetzt. Parkett statt Laminat, Fliesen im alten Stil (inkl. Fußbodenheizung), bodenebene Regenduschen mit Armaturen im 20er Jahre Stil und Badewannen. All das nun also auf dem modernsten technischen Stand. Die Möbel hingegen eher recht modern und gradlinig. Wobei Du das natürlich in Deinem Zimmer halten kannst wie Du willst.

Was heißt jetzt modern?
1.000 Mbit Internet, Waschmaschine plus Trockner, modernstes Lichtsystem, nur Ökostrom…
Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was der leidenschaftliche Hobbykoch so braucht - und vor allem mit viel Platz.

Ok, viel Schwärmerei. Aber jetzt nochmal. WG, echt jetzt?
Ja, aus Überzeugung.

Es leben vier Parteien unter einem Dach.
Mein Freund und ich bewohnen den hinteren Teil der Wohnung. Der vordere Teil hat drei weitere Zimmer zwischen etwa 20 und 35 qm. Wohnzimmer und Küche teilen wir uns alle, ebenso das Wäschezimmer, großes Entré, Windfang.
Und Platz? Naja, rein rechnerisch hat jeder etwas über 60qm (also 300 durch 5). Aber das Wohnzimmer wird ja nicht weniger, weil es noch drei Leute gibt. Also bewegst Du Dich faktisch auf ca. 200qm, da Du ja „nur“ in die privaten Zimmer der anderen nicht rein solltest.
Wir sind alle berufstätig und mögen unsere Jobs, d.h. wir verbringen recht viel Zeit mit Arbeit (auch oft am Wochenende).
Die WG sollte kein "Familienersatz" sein. Man würde es vermutlich als Zweck-WG bezeichnen, wobei uns ein offener, rücksichts- und vertrauensvoller Umgang sehr wichtig ist.

Unterstützung kriegen wir von einer Haushaltshilfe, die wir auf 450 Euro Basis versicherungspflichtig beschäftigen und die uns hilft, alles schön zu erhalten. Wobei aber auch jeder sein eigenes Zeug wegräumt.
Mehr modern und gleichzeitig retro, mehr Luxus und gleichzeitig sozial-korrekte community geht nicht. Für uns ist dieses Wohnkonzept der Inbegriff von Berlin – und vielleicht die schönste WG der Stadt ;-)
